Ken worked with me to develop my mindset and willpower by getting me to follow through with my daily tasks so that I was better prepared in the classroom and on the ice. Together we talked about mental tenacity, and balancing the different aspects of my life. He trained me in open ocean swimming for endurance, and the weight room for strength. He even got me cooking healthy and hearty meals so I was able to learn a new skill and take a more hollistic approach to my life.
